The tavern will soon be \"officially\" open on Wednesday nights! CWT Meiling will be your host, beginning October 15th. Hope to see you all there.

Ladies and Jellybeans!

Abby and Asa have been very busy these last few cycles making some changes in their business dealings. Why? Because times change, and they need to keep up! Weather and war strike, businesses fail or change hands, inter-regional trade shifts... You name it.

The result of this is a brand new listing of beverages available at the Crosswinds, and they're very proud of it! You'll find some entirely new items, and you'll also see that many of your old favorites are still there, though some of them may be sporting new names. The previous names will be listed in the descriptions until everyone has had some time to get used things again. You'll also find that the wines have been conveniently divided into \"White,\" Red,\" and \"Specialty,\" and that the ales and teas have been expanded. Check it out! Be amazed! Find some new favorites!

Also, some time after the new year, a list of \"specials\" will be provided -- items that are not regularly available. If you're interested in contributing to the Specials, please speak to Abby or Asa -- Er... get in touch with me!

Hosting hours have been updated once again. Watch for an announcement about when the Thursday afternoon shifts are expected to begin (\"Lawry\" is having some internet issues at the moment).

Our host Sasha is currently \"afk\" for a while, and so Monday nights are without a host for the time-being. We will update you when that changes.

Remember that when a host is not present, Asa and Abby are around to serve food and drink, and S'era and Irvin can keep order.

We are currently looking for players who want to give back to the LTP community by working as a Tavern Host one or more shifts during the week. Hosts should have at least six months experience in the forum, should have a working knowledge of the setting and of current events, be willing to sling drinks and food for little pay, AND -- most important of all -- be willing to welcome and help out our players, both new and old.

Players are welcome in the tavern at any time. No one around when you want to play? Drop a line on the boards and let people know that you're trying to get some RP started. We only ask that you respect the setting. Remember that NPCs Asa and Abby are around to serve food and drink, and S'era and Irvin stand ready to keep order if trouble breaks out.

Fall has fell, and there are a few new Specials on the Crosswinds Tavern Beverage Menu! Be sure to check them out!

We are also looking for some new concoctions. Please send them to me in either PM or Email. I got one last time I asked. I'll bet you folks can do better than that!

Can you believe how time flies? The new Specials are available on the Beverages menu!

Please send me some new ones! One per player. ::cracking whip:: It's actually pretty fun making them up, and we could maybe use some herbal teas and/or some non-alcoholic drinks as well. What about something wild from the Badlands?
