| Name | Description and Notes |
| Abby | A young, rather plain woman in her late teens. She's employed as a cook at the Crosswinds and usually works the same evenings as her father, Asa. She's been known to chase cats and halflings from the kitchen. (This is an NPC that can be played by anyone as necessary.) Updated: 30 Sept 2005 |
| Adresack, Jazmine | This untrained Necromancer was most known for her rather annoying habit of using her power inside the Crosswinds Tavern. She also had a small affair with Cecil Deathlight, which could be linked to her disappearance. Current whereabouts unknown. Updated: Pre - 2003 |
| Aidaea, Natasha | A quiet Outlander woman, recently arrived in Lyran Tal, who volunteers her services as a tender occasionally at the Crosswinds Tavern. Updated: Pre - 2003 |
| Alaja, Nyyrikk | The Mer 'Archmagess of Below.' Slender, old beyond counting. Age mottles the intricate tattoos on her face, neck and shoulders and her smile reveals small, sharp teeth. Updated: December 2005 |
| Allessair, Nikolas | Son of Ashoken d’Allessair, Nikolas shares his mother’s ice blue eyes and little else. Despite his birthplace and parentage, Nikolas feels more at home in Southern Oceanuus than any where else. Tall, dark-skinned with a swimmer’s build, Nikolas was taught in Hydromancy by a rogue Hydromancer. Nikolas is adept but knows little renown. Updated: July 2008 |
| Al'skander, Gulgothir | The leader of the Silver Moon Hunters. No known information exists about this elf, save that he is not one to be crossed and that if he is hunting for you, then you best prepare to go to the ends of Lyran Tal to survive Gulgothir Al'skander and his dungeons. Updated: Pre - 2003 |
| Amberlanni, Kaianis | MISSING. A stunningly beautiful (yet porcelain cold) elf, and a former member of the Geomantic Council of Six. Kaianis took part in the Joining ceremony - the Arborian High Druid's merging with the legendary Tree of Life - and rumor has it she was close to Cytorak Brownleaves before his disappearance. Updated: 25 Jan 2007 |
| Antale, Moreas 'The Skull' | A skeletal reporter for the Dreven Gazette, who returned to his birthplace of Dreven City seeking his wife and child from his previous life. Little known fact: Was once a friend of the skeleton, Skully Bones, who met final death and returned as The Risen. Updated: Pre - 2003 |
| Anubis, Mordred | Necromancer, former Ambassador to Shadokhan. Born in Balthazor, Mordred is an Elf with dark skin and white hair. His past is something of a mystery; it is unclear what his intentions and ambitions might be, but he has always done what he can to aid who he may. He travels between a home in Dreven and his keep in Balthazor. Little known fact: Mordred has a twin brother living in the Badlands. Updated: 16 Nov 2006 |
| Arc-of-Lightning | DECEASED. The former leader of the infamous Khel da'Rhe ('Wings of the Deep Night'), the Seleventi secret police, Arc-of-Lightning was a powerful killer shrike warrior. Arc-of-Lightning met his ending during the failed coup, though for a very brief moment he ruled the Aerie with an iron talon. Arc-of-Lightning died at the hands of the hero, Aeolus Corindu. |
| Archiras, Sir Edail | Former Oceanuusian Ambassador to Balthazor, and a warrior with a colorful history in battle. He returned to Southern Oceanuus in early retirement, but when the waves hit he took to piracy and became known only as The Shrike. He battled the remains of the Crystal Fleet and helped run the Shallowreef Isles as an island state from secrecy under the colors of the Pirate Nations until the portals reopened and he returned to his mercenary habits on the mainland. Updated: Summer 2005 |
| Arcturas, Esmerelda | Once banished to the Badlands, Esmerelda has since returned to Balthazor to reclaim her birthright as Baroness of Riverside. She stands a petite 5'3' tall with brown hair and brown eyes and appears to be in her early 20s. She makes her residence at the Baron's Keep in Riverside, along with a son and a daughter. She is a skilled necromancer and a member of the Sisterhood of the Labyrinth. Little known fact: Having died at the hands of an assassin, Esmerelda has returned to the world of the living as self-willed Undead. Updated: January 2008 |
| Argus | An Outlander much changed by his arrival in Lyran Tal, Argus fell in with Halvard Horbin and Liadan Watervale as they searched for the shards of Shahir Ad-Zoth. Argus has recently settled down with Elven ranger Errin Hawke. Little known fact(s): The Betrayer of Lyran Tal. Gave the shard of Shahir Ad-Zoth to an unknown (to others) assailant, but not before the shard changed him in ways that few know at the present. Updated: Pre - 2003 |
| Ariyeva, Ryo | DECEASED. Best friend and second in command to Kili Bashar, the Pirate King, Ryo is a hydromantic Half-Lo with a fondness for pretty things. Exotic looks: navy blue fades to pale gold across his fragile skin. A startling gold mane frames a delicately pointed face and eyes the color of goldenrod. Updated: March 2007 |
| Ash Maker, The | See entry for Versaisna, Lucair. Updated: Summer 2005 |
| Ashlyn, Breina 'Sheaítal' | An orphaned Aeromancer who, with the aid of Riven Azurehand and Levi Helsinth, rose quickly through the Aeromantic ranks to become the sole female on the council of six, and also Cloosidian's ambassador to Shadokhan. After a failed relationship with fellow councilmember Ereledan "Skychilde" Ashura, and a realization of her half-Seleventi heritage, Breina had a bout with depression and is now attempting to put her life back together and also find out more about her history and heritage. Updated: Pre - 2003 |
| Ashura, Ereledan | Born an Outlander, Ereledan spent many years traveling in Cloosidian and studying the art of Aeromancy, before rising to the position of Aeromantic Councilmember, working at the Aerie for the Arch-Mage of Aeromancy, Klackatonakin. A love affair with fellow Councilmember Breina Ashlyn ended badly, and Ereledan has not been seen since. Ereledan, called "Skychilde" by some, is the twin brother of Shaelen Ashura, though neither know the other is in Lyran Tal. Updated: Pre - 2003 |
| Ashura, Jade | DECEASED. The mother of Ereledan and Shaelen Ashura. Killed by their aunt, her sister Kaitlin. Called "Starchilde" by some, Jade was said to be touched by the celestial powers, and wielded an impressive amount of magic. Jade sired Ereledan and Shaelen through a now-deceased woodsman known as the Quester. |
| Ashura, Kaitlin | Ereledan and Shaelen Ashura's Aunt - the sister of their mother - and a very, very powerful sorceress. Evil to the core, Kaitlin is responsible for the death of their mother, Jade. Both twins have made it their life quest to avenge their mother's death, and have separately tracked Kaitlin to Lyran Tal. Since arriving years ago, however, they lost the trail. Both now lead normal lives in Lyran Tal, but continue seek any clue that might lead them to Kaitlin, however small. Updated: Pre - 2003 |
| Ashura, Shaelen | Called 'Stormchilde' by those who know her best, Shaelen has traveled a long and hard life path in her short years. A quest to locate her murdered mother's evil sister, Kaitlin, brought her to Lyran Tal, and her path since has been anything but stable. Trained as a ranger by the Arborian woodsman, Draspen, Shaelen's path took her to become a Silver Moon Knight in Shadokhan, and from there she accepted an undercover assignment to help ferret out Triad crimes. That path brought her in accidental contact with Michanek Pen'darric, as well as the unconscious body of Tumian Dreven, which effectively ended her investigation of the Triad. She was appointed as a Lieutenant of the Emperor's Royal Guards. Updated: Pre - 2003 |
| Athan, Pol | Born in a small farm town in Luminii, his family was taken from him, one by one, in the plagues that ravaged the region. Pol's activities through most of his childhood were dubious at best. At the age of sixteen, he found a better use for his talents in the Klockwork Army when they came to rebuild his town. Master of the sword, he now counts Dreven as his home. Married to Shahdi Sadani, twin sister to his best friend, Havoc, she left him without warning after only a year and a half of marriage. At present he manages the smithy known as Dury Arms. He's adopted Cheyhayanna, now a young teenaged girl, he rescued from the streets. Updated: September 2008 |
| Axechucker, Huckleberry | The Realm's Strongest Dwarf-Trained Halfling and current employee of the Crosswinds Tavern. Huckleberry's nicknames include "Uncle Hucky," "Axey," "Axeymoron," "Moron," "Butterball," "That #@&%ing Idiot," "Tucklebucky Axeflunky" and "Cat Bait". Huck considers himself quite the cook, but was ordered (on pain of death by Zharyka and Fyr) not to touch the stove. He pretty much sticks to making drinks, insulting paying customers, and making a general arse out of himself. He is known to regularly sleep, passed out, in a kitchen barrel. Updated: Pre - 2003 |
| Azurehand, Riven | DECEASED. A former member of the Aeromantic Council of Six and a vocal supporter of Jarz La Frenz, the former human Aeromantic Arch-Mage of Cloosidian. Riven never forgave Klackatonakin for his ascending to the position of Arch-Mage, but understood that, personal feelings aside, a united Council was necessary for a united Cloosidian, and remained an active member of the Council until his death. Riven died of old age in 1256 LT, but willed his seat on the Council to his ward, Breina Ashlyn, before his passing. |

| Ban-Triam, Arman | MISSING. The ruling Magistrate of Dreven, Arman is known to be a cold and unfeeling man, and was the prosecutor in the Zharyka Jelahldoran trial that led to the Emperor's Outlander Edict. It is now known, of course, that the infamous edict was handed down by Icaruss, not Tumian Dreven. Arman has kept a very low profile since Icaruss' fiery attack on the city. Updated: Pre - 2003 |
| Baneilen, Lysaen | A solitary druid that dwells near the tiny hamlet of Corhaille in central Arboria, Lysaen's Gift of Spirit manifested at too young an age. Though she left her home to become part of the druid settlement at Baile-Morsuth, ill health and a constant feeling of unease forced her back to Corhaille - where she had invested too much of herself into the land when her Gift was wild and uncontrolled. She is a prisoner there, as much as it is her home, for if she leaves, her health fails and her magic wanes. Updated: 2003 |
| Baraeros, Keldon | Once, he was a powerful member of the UMA and considered one of the richest men in the Silver Moon Empire. But the takeover of the Klocks drove him to the Badlands. He later returned with his own personal army to aid in the rebellion in Luminii. After the success of the rebellion, his personal ambitions were finally realized when he assumed leadership of the region, now called The Republic of Luminii. Keldon is of medium build with dark features. Updated: Sep 2007 |
| Basdeo, Esme | A lively if extremely eccentric albino girl from Balthazor who claims to be a 'demon hunter'. She is 'predictably unpredictable' often going on whatever whim hits her at the moment. Lesser known is that she is a sorceress, able to speak with spirits and utilize their aid, if it can be called that. Her family is unknown, Basdeo being given to her as the elven words roughly translating as Death Spirit... or is it Spirit Death? Updated: September 2006 |
| Bashar, Kili | Deposed Pirate King. After losing everything -- his ship, his best friend, his home, his power -- he was cursed and banished from Oceanuus by the Mer, allowed to live because he was mysteriously 'chosen of the gods.' Set adrift in a tiny boat filled with odd trinkets and offerings from the natives, he was lucky to make it to shore. Lucky to live at all. But Kili is destined for greater things than life in a tiny refugee village... Updated: July 2008 |
| Bayani, Miri | The Hydromantic Archmagess of Southern Oceanuus, Miri is the only known Half-lo to attain the rank of archmage. An intensely private and reticent woman, she is hounded by those questioning her right to rule, political upheaval within the islands, and, more recently, by the upset in magic caused by the Klockworks. Updated: March 2007 |
| Belfante, Bronwyn | MISSING and presumed dead. The famed 'Lark of Dreven,' once Loremaster to the Order of the Rising Sun. Updated: Pre - 2003 |
| Belissem, Bertrius | Captain Pergaeron's stalwart assistant and secondhand man, Lieutenant Belissem is the living epitome of the paper soldier. With nearly as much combat experience as the greenest recruit, Belissem is a coward second to none, and does very little to hide this fact. Polite and proper to the extreme, Belissem's one bad habit is nail biting - a habit that keeps his nails properly manicured without paying someone else to do it. Lieutenant Belissem saw a battle, once, far away, and it is rumored he very nearly stood up to the vicious Chicken of Bristol... Updated: Pre - 2003 |
| Bendiri | No'ari. A blue-tinged Half-lo of the Hydromantic Council. Updated: June 2006 |
| Beoroth | An Arborian Hunter/Trapper of ponderous frame and mass, with an affinity (and tolerance) for drink and food rivaled by very few. Updated: Pre - 2003 |
| Beth, Lord Oscra Mollus | A former Hydromantic Councilmember, Oscra Beth rose to his position of power through luck, flattery, and not a little deception. A molluskian (a merman with the bottom half of an octopus), the monstrously obese Beth made a career out of walking the fine line. And as easily as Beth rose, so too did he fall. A failed attempt to kidnap Arch-Magess Elorac Seamere, and replace her with a shapeshifting creature ended his short career, and he barely escaped Xieng Khouang with his life. Rumor has it Beth escaped with a good portion of the Seamere family's wealth, however, and few doubt the fat bastard is living the high life somewhere. Updated: Pre - 2003 |
| Black, Tristan Rory | Promoted to full Ranger at the unprecedented age of 27, Tristan stands 5'11" tall with brown hair and brown eyes. He is married to the former Annabeth Legere of Padrical and is cousin to the McGills and nephew of Baron Rittle of Rainshadow. He has a younger brother named Will, who is a Ranger Apprentice. He is currently in charge of the Ranger Station just outside Dreven and makes his home with his wife and brother at the Black Family farm. Updated: October 2008 |
| Blackfeather, Lerie | A human druid of high power but unnoticed in politics, just the way she likes it. Lerie tends to travel often, appearing nearly anywhere on Hyathis though her home is the small druid city of Anlanna in the Lealóre Plateau. Like the Crow that guides her, Lerie is a small dark thing unperturbed by the darkness that is slowly enveloping Lyran Tal. Updated: 2003 |
| Blackloc, Arenis | On the surface Blackloc is a wealthy merchant that became wealthier under the Klockwork Regime. The reason for such affluence is partly wise trading in metals. In truth, Blackloc's success is tied to his Triad affiliations, which flourished under Tumian Dreven's reign and on into the Klockwork Master's. Updated: 2003 |
| Blalock, Sir Pike | Ex-Oceanuusian Ambassador to Thermador in the early 1260's. Current whereabouts unknown. Updated: Summer 2005 |
| Bonjuelo, Terish | Emperor Tumian Dreven's personal Vivomancer, Terish was a Vivomancer of the ninth rank before being sent by the Vivomantic Arch-Mage of Luminii to tend to the Drevens in his old age (a form of graceful retirement of the highest honor). Terish held this post with pride and dignity for many more years... before finally being hauled away to Taysáyad Keep's dungeons by the mad Icaruss, posing as the Emperor. Terish was eventually rescued from the keep's dungeons... but was found blinded. Updated: Pre - 2003 |
| Brenshca, Kalnish | He is an Offworlder who found himself in Lyran Tal after falling through a rift in time and space. Originally from an area of earth that would later become Europe, he lived with Romany people for years, learning their language. He learned also the Gypsy skills with horses and throwing knives. For a time he lived at Streylan Farm near Dreven City, working with his blood-brother, Kai dan Rikash, as a horse-trainer. He is the father of Nisi, (his adopted daughter) and a son, Joshua. Known fact: He distrusts all 'Shanglo,' the word in Romany for police. Updated: 2003 |
| Brenshca, Nisi | Born a Sea Gypsy, this young woman came to live with a distant uncle in Dreven when she was found washed up on shore at the age of fifteen. The only survivor of a storm that took the rest of her clan, she was adopted by Kalnish and Caissa Brenshca. Caught in the time shift of 1261, she's discovered that ten years seems to have magically changed the world she knew. Teacher, healer, tendress and spy, she has recently added motherhood to that list with a daughter, Peri. Updated: January 2007 |
| Brine, Adrahm | DECEASED. A seven foot Oceanuusian native, once employed at the Crosswinds Tavern. |
| Bronmin, Anlach | Member of the Thermadoran Council of Six. Former member of Shaftile Pyreslake's Council. Updated: Summer 2005 |
| Bronnagh, Ciara Deirdre | Ciara was born in the Barony of Padrical in Balthazor, but currently resides in Malcoven. She rarely, if ever, gives her last name. She stands about 5 feet 10 inches tall and is of medium build. Her eyes are storm grey. Her black hair is generally worn in a single braid that falls down her back as is common with the women that follow the teachings of the Sisterhood of the Labyrinth and the Great Mother. Ciara has had some training under her foster mother, Eudora's, tutelage as an herbalist. She is also a speaker for the dead. Ciara is one of the youngest women to serve on the High Council of the Sisterhood and is the heiress to the Barony of Rainshadow. Updated: January 2008 |
| Brownleaves, Cytorak | MISSING. The former High Druid in Arboria, Cytorak was a charismatic and masculine man with twinkling brown eyes and a booming laugh. Cytorak's yearly travels to join with the Tree of Life are said to bless The Empire with a yearly abundance, and his frequent joinings with a great many of Arboria's single ladies were said to have blessed the tree-lined avenues of Evergreen with daily sources of gossip. Also known as the 'Leaflord,' Cytorak's ascension to the position of High Druid (no human had ever held the position before) was said to have been aided by Tequin Shaldolf-Sundew himself, and both men were quite close. Because of his sudden disappearance Cytorak is presumed dead. Updated: Pre - 2003 |
| C | |
| Caine, Raziel | His family dead, his wife dead, Raziel came to Dreven searching for an old pupil of his. This elf was for a time tied up in the search for Shahir Ad-Zoth, but has recently joined up with the Highwaymen, being amused by their human leader, Jason. Little known fact Raziel's deceased wife was a human. Updated: Pre - 2003 |
| Cal'e, Brynnalia | A flirtatious and willful gypsy, this beauty of raven hair and green eyes wears the tanned complexion of a Thermadorian and curses with the best of the Oceanuusian sailors. She can also ferret out any news or gossip that often burns the cheeks and ears of her subjects. Little known fact: This 'gypsy extraordinaire' is actually an offworlder having arrived to Lyran Tal through the Northern Portal. Updated: Pre - 2003 |
| Call, Tieryan | Tieryan appears to be in his early thirties. He is tall with pale blue eyes and hair that varies between dark blonde and light depending on the time of year. Rumors of his chosen career vary between mercenary work and something far less legal. Updated: January 2007 |
| Celerenne, Parissia | High Advisor to Tequin Shaldolf-Sundew, Parissia is the highest-ranking Geomantic Councilmember and has held the position for three centuries. More than a tad bit bitter about the "boy's club" that is Tequin's Council, she replaced the only other female ever to ascend to the Council, and has held onto her seat with a tenacity that belies her frail appearance. Updated: Pre - 2003 |
| Ch'iki | An enigmatic young woman who accompanies Shad Grey on his travels, often protecting him from danger Quiet and reserved, she volunteers little info about her past and background. She has shown on occasion a talent for combat with surprising strength and toughness, balanced by speed and agility. Updated: 2005 |
| Chiron | Believed to be DECEASED. Cloosidian kitchen boy who rose in ranks and brought down two significant families in doing so. Afterwards he moved to Luminii and attempted to cause the downfall of Marcel Desgarden and the Arch-Magess, but was caught and chased into an abandoned barn, which was locked and set aflame under the command of Shay Graystone. Discovered afterwards was a biography in the form of love letters to SinJee in the forest, and the unrecognizable charred remnants of a corpse in the barn believed to be the murderous and manipulative Chiron. Updated: Pre - 2003 |
| Ciaragain, Varia ni | Former member of the Thermadoran Council of Six. Updated: Summer 2005 |
| Cloudwater, Edgen | A young elven druid under the tutelage of Cytorak. The powerful Cloudwater family has only grudgingly accepted the fact that Cytorak is High Druid... and only with the knowledge that Edgen will ascend the position once the short-lived human is gone. Edgen himself cares nothing for his family's wishes, for he loves his mentor, and is far more loyal to Cytorak than he is to his stuffy family. Updated: Pre - 2003 |
| Cloudwater, Faune | Eldest child of the Evergreen Cloudwaters. Curvy and beautiful, with coppery red hair and sparkling green eyes. Occasional lover of Cytorak, and older sister of Edgen. Updated: Pre - 2003 |

Updated: November 2007 |
| Courescant, Mechella | The widow to Samuel Courescant, and now the only remaining member and heir to the fortunes of the great House of Courescant. Once an artist of humble origins, she has seen much changes in her life, from a love of a good and noble man, to the death of his entire family at the hands of a jealous and insane brother of her Chosen. She still practices her craft of drawing diligently, although much sadness as well as strength are reflected anew in her eyes and elegant poise. Updated: Pre - 2003 |

It is now known that Camerron killed his parents as well as numerous servants of the Courescant Keep in a murderous rage, after which he also met with his own death. |
| Courescant, Sir Samuel | DECEASED. The second child born to Alexander and Withea Courescant, Samuel was seemingly born to be a knight. Chivalrous, kind, dedicated and honorable, young Samuel embodied the very spirit of the Silver Moon Knight - without a knight's boastfulness. The only shadow in Samuel's life was when his family initially refused to accept Mechella d'Virte as his Chosen. It led to a dispute between he and his older brother on the very night of the wedding, which led to his accidental tumble over a balcony and ended in his unfortunate death. |

Following an unfriendly encounter with Zharyka Jelahldoran and Iannon Destyranos, Jorn viciously beat the couple's young friend, innocent Anna Little. In angry retaliation, Zharyka used her psionic powers to set Jorn aflame, scarring the mercenary for life and almost killing him. | d’Allessair, Ashoken | Ashoken claims Thermador as her birthplace but her ice cold blue eyes reveal at least one parent from somewhere other than the desert land. Ashoken is a mercenary with exceptional sword skill and has found herself in the thick of assassination plots. For her aid in ridding Balthazor of the lich Fores Mishal, Ashoken was named Captain of the Malcoven Guard by Archmagess Irmaa Vep. Ashoken is credited with the death of the Klockmaster but she did not make the killing blow. Updated: July 2008 |
| Deannachuil | Called any variety of nicknames -- Dee, Deanna, and Dusty, the most popular -- Deannachuíl's true name is known to very few, a habit she intends to keep. Having left her natural home of deep water, she claims the northern Thermadorian town of Silverton as her new home, and has built a very close relationship with the Pyromantic representative stationed there. Though her motives for moving remain unknown, she spends an unwarranted amount of time in the Silverton mines, asking questions and generally getting in the way of the workers. Short-tempered and mischievous by nature, a close eye is kept on her at all times, but not close enough to see the ore she steals from the mines and sends to her employer. Updated: Pre - 2003 |

| Denicalis, Sepia | Little is known of this woman, a member of the Belladonna Sodality since she was a child. Rumored only to be a ghost of the imagination, Sepia's encounters with people are all too real, and fatal. Delighting in her two passions--murder and painting--Sepia only surfaces to accomplish the former or observe the effects of the latter. Her guarded 'talent' is the ability to foresee a person's death, which she often paints in detail, enjoying the masterpiece before it fades when its subject matter dies. Once protégé to Shaitann, and lover - to embellish the term - to Messena, Sepia's cunning and wiles serve to keep her ahead in the Sodality. Updated: Pre - 2003 |

A Thermadorian by birth, Anton traveled to Luminii and made his fortune in the wine business, raising a modest family and doing quite well for himself. | Dod, Vanskelig | It was hardness, determination, and drive that moved her up the ranks within the Klockwork Army all the way to Captain. That, and the ability to gather information others have not. She uses force easily. Not only her own, she commands compliance. Stories of her kills fill the rank and file of the Klockwork Army. Her allegiance is everything. Updated: 2004 |
| Dolek, Raphael | The son of a blacksmith, this 39 yo, well-muscled man joined the army as soon as he legally could. Married at 22, he's currently widowed and raising his two children, Jon and Gayle. Career military, rumor has it that he has no sense of humor. Once a Klockwork Captain, he took up arms against the oppresive Klock regime and now holds the leadership position of Steward of Dreven. Updated: January 2007 |
| Dorn, Gylon T. | From the streets of Malcoven, into the service of the Silver Moon Knights to escape poverty, he traveled as a Knight through Luminii and into the Badlands. He returned to find the Knights replaced by the Klockforces and he followed. With skills honed he moved into the Broken Ring and the Silver Moon Hunters. He defines himself as a solider. Or he did. | Draspen | DECEASED. A human druid in the mold of Cytorak, Draspen was a member of the Human Resistance... but only through the grace Tequin Shaldolf-Sundew. Draspen was sent by the Arch-Mage to discover the Resistance's true motivations. In this task, Draspen encountered Leannan Laenaille and Xanacus Moonshade, and aided the runaway elf maiden in eluding Elven Hand agents. | Dreven, Aslin | Older sister to the Emperor Tumian Dreven, her royal blood was not revealed to the public until just a few years past, during a celebration of Tivili in Shadokhan. It was that year also that her love of the elven Weaponsmaster, Chajar Shaldolf-Sundew was made apparent. But due to mysterious and not widely known circumstances since, the star-crossed lovers have gone their separate ways, the Princess having wedded the Prince from land afar, Girard Khersones of the Khorezim Empire. Since her departure from the shores of Arboria, her welfare is not known. Updated: Pre - 2003 |
| Dreven, Marinia | The infamous Dowager Empress, Marinia is the widow of Cornelius II, and the mother of Aslin and Tumian. Marinia's cold and aloof manners are legendary, though many speculate these walls were put up by the premature death of her late husband. Others speculate (much more quietly) that her husband's death was a tad bit too convenient and without muss or fuss... but if these blasphemous rumors have reached her ears, she has remained above such talk. In align with her reputation of craftiness and manipulative ways, it is also said that she played a pivotal role in the matrimony of her daughter to the Khorezim Prince, Girard Khersones. Updated: Pre - 2003 |
| Dreven, Tumian | DECEASED. The Emperor of the Silver Moon Empire, Tumian was brought to the throne at the strapping age of 18 when his father, Cornelius II, was killed in a freak horseback accident. Tumian led the empire as well as a young man could before the Demon War - and his defeat of Gane Torask - led to his death. A seeming miracle occurred when Tumian returned from the dead, but that is now known to be a deception, as Icaruss revealed his true form, finally, after nearly running the empire to ruin. The true Tumian Dreven has returned since to his throne, and have sacrificed much to restore the security and strength of his empire. Updated: Pre - 2003 |

| Fjordson, Zuan | Called 'Metalhead' for his stubborn and fierce demeanor, this short-tempered Dwarf is the head of Dvarnia's Hold and the figurehead of the newly independent Dwarven Nation. He is a cynical and domineering sort who believes he has the answers almost as much as he actually does. This only serves his confidence and by turns his fearless and fearsome nature. Although an elected official, he tends to bully the other clan chiefs into following his lead, a tactic which helped forge close alliances with the Elves and which, with a lot less difficulty, helped shatter those alliances to dust with the rise of the Klockwork Master. Still, success and an earnest concern for the well-being of his people dull his sharpest edges. Updated: 2004 |

| Gaeaborn, Cargal | Zuan Fjordson's second. Older that Zuan and arguably more mature, Cargal is carefully composed and soft-spoken, at least as far as Dwarves go. Granted the dubious responsibility of making sure that Zuan's orders are carried out efficiently, Cargal is often described as a soft-touch, and occasionally incurs Zuan's brief but explosive bouts of anger in order to spare others. He is very much a father figure to those under Zuan's command. Updated: 2004 |

This half elf usually wears his dark hair pulled loosely back in a tail to hide the points to his ears. Thunderstorm gray eyes compliment the perpetual scowl that mars his pretty face. | Melchior, Istvár | Banned from the Vivomantic school for 'contributing life' in a manner unacceptable to the school, Istvár has set out to be a rogue healer, experimenting with his natural talents and the magic he learned in the healing arts. Using his uncommon good looks and charming nature to lure women into his care, he has used his training to manipulate their bodies in small ways, testing theories and sating curiosities. With only two failures on his personal record -- the details of which not even officials in Luminii will discuss in private -- Istvár keeps one sharp eye out for authorities and the other for his next subject. In the time in Annabella Morningsar was forced into hiding, the others who believed with her gathered to keep leadership of the art in order to keep it from dying out. | Pergaeron, Hadius Bellicos | RETIRED A Silver Moon Knight Captain of sterling reputation, Captain Pergaeron commanded the Silver Moon Knights of Fort Klimteg, in Arboria. Pergaeron's enemies were many, for many were the men he walked on to achieve his lofty position. Updated: Pre - 2003 |
| Perlai, Captain Donatto | A man of average height but perceptible physical strength. Rough hands and weather-worn features, a farmer's tan and brown windblown hair cut just at his neck, all are signs of his farming background. His weak smile is slow to come and nothing spectacular, with perhaps a hint of uneasiness in its display. But his scowl, when shown, says much more than his deep, booming voice could ever. He is a man of simple tastes who goes unknown unless you actually know him, an earnest and hard-working man who sees his position as a job, but the army as his calling. Updated: 2004 |
| Pierce, Donovin | An Outlander from the lands East of Balthazor where his family was butchered like cattle before him. Arriving in Shadokhan on business, it would seem that Donovin has managed to offend the wrong people and is presently trying to settle the score. Updated: Pre - 2003 |
| Purgunuh, Almuh | The aunt of Callvihn Mohbaender, she was his introduction to the Socaedad. Discovering at a young age his excellent aptitude with geomancy and fearing that he would fall victim to the rigid structures of Dwarven job organization, Almuh rescued Callvihn from a life of geomantic labor and brought him into the world of geomantic art. She is an extremely skilled geomancer in her own right, but her resistance to falling into yet another structure within the hierarchy of the Socaedad prevented her from seeking any power. | Ramona | DECEASED A mysterious young woman of dubious origin, the street waif Ramona has a close kinship with the very Emperor himself, Tumian Dreven... though what that kinship is, exactly, few can say. Few even know she exists, and even fewer realize she had almost weekly visitations with the young Emperor prior to the Demon War and Icaruss' subsequent return. Since that time, however, Ramona disappeared. She has been seen by few since, and those rare sightings could not be proven. Updated: Fall 2006 |

| Ri'k'kai | The Miramedan ambassador to the Dwarven Nation. A delicate and nervous being who is constantly fiddling with his segmented horns. His anxiousness causes others to wonder what he is up to, although it is only his poor ability to speak the common Dwarven language with is ill-adapted mouthparts. He is concealing secrets, though, which could drastically change the relationship between both races. Updated: Pre - 2003 |
| Rikash, Baron Sherakai dan | Possessing an enviable aura of self-confidence, Baron Streylan makes a striking figure. 6'2' and well-muscled, there are few who dare to challenge him, and those that do soon discover the error of their ways. Exotic silver eyes with slitted pupils seem able to see one's most hidden secrets, and he has an uncanny ability to either set one at ease -- or provoke one to foolish action (courtesy of his skill in the 7th Gift). He is married to Danisia Chambray and father to what rumor terms a "horde" of children. He also breeds and raises the rare Erkandri horses as well as owning several other businesses. Updated: January 2008 |
| Riordan, Oman | He entered the Klockwork Army at 15 summers. His parents had been brutally killed the season before. The Army told him he could work and they would pay his wages, give him clothes for his back, and food for his belly. So he went. They said he could kill. He worked hard. He killed well. He gained a reputation for efficiency and mercilessness. When Klockwork needed his best men to hunt the Knights, he volunteered. He knew he was the best. Updated: Summer 2005 |

| Rourke, Soledaad | Just over six feet tall and her body trained to the peak of perfection for battle, Soledaad Rourke is the Baroness of Padrical, and the current Balthazorian Ambassador to Dreven. She is part of the mysterious priesthood called the Sisters of the Labrynth. She is hard to miss as she is an albino with almost crimson eyes and snow white hair. Updated: January 2007 |
| Royz, Komar | The Silver Moon Knight Hunters and the Broken Ring fall under the command of Lord Komar Royz. Spymaster and member of the Klockwork Master's Inner Circle. Komar misses little; call it part of his job. Always calm and careful, his voice is smooth and low-pitched, but his smile is usually more unsettling than his usual, straight face. The man is dangerous, as rumor has it, and knows more than perhaps even one of his status should. Although hard to find without an appointment, he often appears unbidden when needed. There's something about his demeanor and bearing that makes people want to explain themselves to him; he holds a sharp stare that accuses without intent. Updated: 2004 |

Her new political carreer and responsibility to the men under her command takes up most of her attention, yet she still finds herself tangled up in romantic affairs. Updated: November 2006 |
| Rulyar, Keran Drache | Older brother to Kendra Rulyar. The resemblance between the siblings is strong enough to mistake them for twins, but their temperaments differ drastically. After years of travel, Keran has returned to Arboria and taken over duties as the Head of House Rulyar. Handsome, strong and well-spoken, his star is on the rise in Elven court. Updated: November 2006 |

Trained as a merc, she's a fighter and a survivor - with an attitude. Winning her trust isn't easy, and once you've got it, you'd better never betray it. "I don't get mad. I get even." He earned his nickname in that battle, and was briefly placed under the care of Vivomancers for insanity. |
| Saerndakk, Garne | The Saerndakk family of Luminii is one of noble lineage, connected to the Silver Moon Knights since the Order's inception. Garne obeyed his father's demands and joined the Knights, despite misgivings. Not surprisingly, he abandoned the Knighthood after the death of his parents and the onset of mental instability in his twin, Cravideous. Garne immersed himself in Arboria for a time, then sought out his brother in Shadokhan during Icaruss' ploy to destroy the Empire. In 1261, Garne disappeared and was presumed dead by his remaining family. When the Crosswinds Tavern suddenly materialized in 1271, Saerndakk was inside, unaged. He is now wanted for high treason by the Klockwork Magistrate. Updated: 2004 |
| Sage, The | Nothing is known of the skull-masked mage other than that he refers to himself as 'The Sage.' | San Giamonico, Olaf | DECEASED. Once the largest non-aristocrat land holder in Luminii, leader of the ALF, and prominent Council Member to the Archmagess Morningstar, Olaf followed the change in leadership and became a member of the Klockmaster's Inner Circle. He was executed for stealing funds, but before his hanging he was able to pass riches on to his son Panapolis, and the thirst for the leadership of his beloved Luminii to his eldest son, Orazio. Updated: Summer 2005 |
| San Giamonico, Orazio | The eldest son of the wealthy Olaf, was positioned to assume leadership of the ALF until he and his new bride were kicked of the Luminii estate. | Sasha | Sasha has been told she has a bad case of joy. Almost always happy and cheerful, she tries to be a friend to everyone...or at least to be polite. She has worked in the CrossWinds Tavern since before the jump, but was not affected by it because she lives outside the lands of Lyran Tal in a place of Fae Magic called The Dreaming. Sasha will steadfastly defend her friends and the Tavern and, while she generally will not lie outright, she has been known to hedge around the truth a bit if necessary. He retired from service in the fall of 1275 (2007). Updated: Fall 2007 |
| Shaldolf-Sundew, Chajar | MISSING and presumed dead. The adopted son of Tequin Shaldolf-Sundew, Chajar grew up in the shadow of greatness. It is no wonder he achieved so much. Made Weaponsmaster and bodyguard to the Emperor himself, Chajar's fighting skills were matched by none His sword, Reannan'se'ar, is a soniarium blade of the rarest quality, and Chajar's wielding of it in the Demon War is still the stuff of legend. Chajar has few flaws - though one might be his love for the Emperor's sister, Aslin Dreven. Many speculate that it was because of her matrimony to Girard Khersones that the elven warrior left Tumian Dreven's side as his Weaponsmaster. Updated: Pre - 2003 |
| Shaldolf-Sundew, Tequin | The Geomantic Arch-Mage of Arboria, the seemingly ageless Tequin is one of the oldest elves alive.
